Nidus — English

One colony of bugs, one hostile house: you draw the zones, you set the priorities, the bugs decide for themselves.

Nidus is a top-down bug colony simulator. You never drive the bugs directly: you draw zones on the ground (forage, brood, store, avoid), you hand out job priorities, and the bugs choose what to do, fight over resources, go hungry, mutate and die. Whatever happens inside the nest ripples through the whole colony.

The nest is not alone. Around it there is food, biomass, weather and a world generated from a seed. And on the other side of the fence there is a human settlement that keeps growing: dogs come in to feed, exterminators turn up with a fog machine, and once the colony is getting too visible, the Fumigator shows up.

Every run is a different world (the same seed gives the same world), and before you start you pick where to land: every region has its own fertility, temperature, resources, human pressure and estimated danger.

You can also colonise: found outposts far from the nest and open trade routes so food and biomass find their way home.

Available in English and Spanish (switch in Options).
